Volunteer Requirements
- Volunteers must work a minimum of 6 hours to receive a pass to either Lamb-Apre's or Mountain Top.
- Volunteers must send in all paperwork and attend a mandatory one-hour training session either Monday, April 1st, 2013 from 5:30-6:30PM or Tuesday, April 2, 2012 from 12:00-1:00PM and will receive all info regarding volunteering at this time.
- Additionally, volunteers may be required to attend meetings that are specific to their committee prior to the event.
- Volunteers must be 21 years of age or older.
- Volunteers must have a valid email address to submit an application.
Volunteer Selection Process
Response to the Volunteer Program for the Taste of Vail is always incredible. All applicants are important to us and we try our best to be fair about the selection process. Volunteers are chosen by the following criteria:
- Applicant has volunteered in the recent past.
- How many years an applicant has volunteered.
- Applicant's past performance as a volunteer.
- How early the applicant submits his/her online volunteer application.
- Background and ability levels.

Position: GRAND TASTING - BREAKDOWN

Responsibilities:
Breakdown: Breakdown of wine room, office and soft goods. Lifting and organizing required.

Position: GRAND TASTING - EVENT

Responsibilities:
The volunteers for Grand will be working in two shifts to cover entire event.
There will be breakdown of tables, sponsor items and ensuring all restaurants, wineries and sponsors are all running smoothly.
Requirements:
The volunteers may need to lift up to 50 lbs.
Position: GRAND TASTING - SET UP

Time Frame: 2013-04-06 15:00:00 - 2013-04-06 20:00:00
Responsibilities:
The volunteers for Grand will be working in two shifts to cover entire event.

Be ticket takers at each restaurant and winery
Setup for the event- (Lifting required)
Cleanup for the Event

Each event will require different abilities - the most important being the face of Taste of Vail and ensuring the event is top notch.
Position: MOUNTAINTOP PICNIC - DURING EVENT

Responsibilities:
During event: The volunteers ensure event runs smoothly by ticket taking, watching over restaurants, wineries and sponsors.
Requirements:
The volunteers may need to lift up to 50 lbs.

Breakdown: The breakdown requires lifting and breakdown of tents and tables

The volunteers may need to lift up to 50 lbs.
Position: MOUNTAINTOP PICNIC SET-UP

Responsibilities:
The setup will require 50 lb lifting for setting up tents, and picnic tables. The guidelines will be setup by the Picnic Coordinator.

Responsibilities:
We need someone able to follow guidelines that are set by the Seminar Coordinator.
Requirements:
The seminars require lifting, moving chairs and restaurant and banquet setup.
