Josh first worked with MS Larry Stone on the wine team at the legendary Michelin Charlie Trotter's. When chef Trotter retired, Josh relocated to the Cayman Islands, where he continued his pursuit of excellence in food and wine- opening a cocktail bar and winning his way into Diageo's Top 100 Bartenders in the world and later twice capturing the crown as Food and Wine's Cayman Cookout Champion, as judged by the late Anthony Bourdain, Eric Ripert, Jose Andres,
Daniel Boulud, Emeril Lagasse, and others.

Josh has been a part of Lingua Franca since its inception in 2015, working with Thomas Savre (Domaine de la Romanee Conti, Domaine Dujac, Evening Land) and the winemaking team through all of Lingua Franca's harvests until leaving the Caribbean for Oregon in late 2017 to work with Larry in overseeing all national and international distribution.

Since its 2017 release, Lingua Franca has twice been named a Top 100 winery by Wine and Spirits Magazine and twice cracked Wine Spectator's Top 100 list. Lingua Franca's Mimi's Mind Pinot Noir was just named as one of the Robb Report's top 14 best wines of the year for 2019 and was also featured in the latest Somm III movie.
