Chad grew up in Traverse City, Michigan, and studied hospitality management at Central Michigan University. He has worked in restaurants across the country for 25+ years. He played semi-pro football in Michigan for three years and moved to Vail to chase powder days. He enjoys both skiing and snowboarding; Vail and Alta/Snowbird are among his favorites. Chad likes endurance sports where he can test his mental toughness, and enjoys fly fishing, backpacking, camping, and wheeling the countryside in his Jeep. Chad is also the Co-Owner of NoteWorthy Wines.
